How long in advance do you recommend booking the tour?
The best time to book is 6 months before your trip start date.
How far in advance should I buy my plane tickets?
The best prices for international airfare to Costa Rica is around 6 months from your trip start date. We recommend you purchase your flights no later than 4 months before your trip.
Do I need to have horse experience to participate in the Equestrian Vacation?
Horse riding experience is not necessary. Our outfitters use calm and gentle horses that are used to taking care of inexperienced riders. Anyone with a love and respect for horses is welcome to join the tour. Age restriction 12 years, weight limit 200 lbs. (as set by horse riding tour operators).
Are all meals included?
Breakfast, snacks and beverages are offered daily. The hotels all have great restaurants on the premises where you purchase a nice dinner. We take you to the tasty, affordable lunch spots throughout the trip.
Do you need a travel visa to enter Costa Rica?
Travelers from the USA, most European countries, and Canada DO NOT require travel visas.
Do I need any vaccinations before traveling to Costa Rica?
Costa Rica does not require any vaccinations. Mosquitos do carry Dengue Fever. So be sure to pack mosquito repellant.
